Mr. Lee is an Executive Director and EIG's Head of Korea. In addition to leading EIG's business in Korea, Mr. Lee supports business development across the greater Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining EIG, Mr. Lee was a senior coverage banker at Standard Chartered Bank, managing the bank's overall relationship with leading private and public companies and originating complex transactions including acquisition and financing of overseas infrastructure assets, structured financing of specialised vessels and rigs as well as direct equity investments. Mr. Lee was formerly Head of Equity-linked Solutions for Standard Chartered and also worked in the investment banking and capital markets divisions of Morgan Stanley and UBS AG in Hong Kong. Prior to his career in finance, Mr. Lee served in the Republic of Korea Air Force as Lieutenant. Mr. Lee, a CFA charterholder, received a B.A. degree in Economics with honors from Williams College and an MBA from Yale University. Mr. Lee is fluent in Korean and conversational in Japanese.
