Ms. Hwong is the Chief Operating Officer for EIG’s Direct Lending strategy, where investment activities are focused across Upstream, Midstream, Power, Renewables, and related Infrastructure.

Prior to joining EIG in 2022, Ms. Hwong spent 10 years at Apollo Global Management, where she actively focused on principal investing in the energy sector. Ms. Hwong started her career in the Investment Banking Division of Jefferies and later at Credit Suisse, where she worked on a variety of energy transactions, including mergers and acquisitions as well as capital market financings.

Ms. Hwong received a B.A. in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
