Mr. Dougherty is an Assistant Vice President and member of the ESG team.  Prior to joining EIG in 2021, Mr. Dougherty was an ESG and Investor Relations Analyst at Talen Energy where he focused on ESG data analysis, performance, and reporting.  Previously, he held ESG and sustainability roles at Schlumberger and ENGIE North America.  Before beginning his career in the field of ESG, he served six years in the US Navy.  Mr. Dougherty earned a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and his M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
