Mr. Freeriks is a Vice President and European Head of Capital Development. Prior to joining EIG in 2026, Mr. Freeriks was a Principal in the Investor Relations team at Asper Investment Management where he was responsible for further building out the IR function and institutional investor coverage. Prior to Asper Investment Management he worked in Equity Capital Markets at Barclays in both London and Amsterdam. He began his career at Stifel in London, where he worked as a Research Analyst covering the Infrastructure & Renewables sectors and subsequently moved into Corporate Broking & Finance to focus on capital raising for Infrastructure & Renewables businesses. Mr. Freeriks holds an MSc in Economics & Strategy from Imperial College London and a BA in Business and Management from the University of Exeter.
